Hey Travel Monkey – tell me about glamping…
Glamping is fabulous and wonderful and all sorts of fun!!
All sorts of things happen in the great outdoors that happen right inside your house every day. You’ll sleep, get up to go to the bathroom, have a delicious breakfast of toast and eggs, Coffee with cream, bailey’s, sugar or splenda, then read your email and fight over who’s done more chores for the ‘household’ this weekend!
Once your mid-morning ‘pep-talk’ (1 part triple sec, 2 parts pineapple juice) is taken care of, a care free afternoon of sunburn and bug bites follows.
Looking at sears outdoor catalog or cablea’s – REI is just the pictorial of people about to have a penthouse forum experience with a few Scandanavian AT thru-hikers – we see lots of plaid, and lots of well fed people.
