Sun on the green green leaves…

Sun on the green green leaves…

not exactly out my office window, but you get the idea…

So here I am, once more in a different location in the den… wonder why I like moving rooms around? However, now I’m distracted by the back yard fenceline and the lush lush … growth. Of course, glancing up gets me a view of our magnolia (no blooms right now) and the other lumbering giants of our back 40 – sigh.

Had to have a big ol’ branch cut up since it had fallen into our neighbor Henry’s yard – wierdest morning where I swear I heard something wake me up, but then not hearing anything esle rolled over and went back to sleep. Up and walking the pooper saw Henry in his back yard, and noticed some new ground cover – sigh.

they said it was the deluge caught up in the leaves, but I’m not sure…

While the tree guys were here we removed a Maple that had lost a limb a few years ago, and had gone half/half living and dead; the living part was over the roof over the kitchen – so, let’s just say I’d prefer to have a shady tree, but more prefer not to have a skylight over the sink.

Left side seems fine, right side – not so much…
a night shot looking up to the sky

“tiny little gift to me”- Boo wants to plant some pretty plants in the stump – should look lovely when she gets them to bloom…

Well, this was both a ‘hey, how’s things?’ and also a test of the space – can I write? can I pull pics from the overflowing library? am I too distracted by the hustle and flow out front? (other than the school buses noisy arrival, over and over again, not to bad…) – we shall see, won’t we?

and as I wrote earlier in my OneNote journal …
“May we say goodbye”
