‘a common blood, mysterious and clear’, even in April

Most weekdays, as I roll into the office I put on kexp.org’s streaming stream. Set it up so I can hear John’s ‘John In the Morning’ theme tune (he has a variety) – kinda sets the stage for the day; if it’s the kids chorus there’s just joy; if it’s The Smiths, or Sigor Ruos, or Courtney ?? – it’s all a stage upon which the fine folk build their morning story.

Turns out – I’m sure I knew but had my doubts – that it is all about storytelling. Every. damn. day.
