My keeping of dates has fallen away, for both good and bad. This effort to create, to share, has brought me to perusing the stream of recollections – perhaps I don’t have to focus on the deepest of the feelings noticed, but on the ancillary, the general, the pedestrian feels of times gone by. Say, by remembering a fine outing to the town so close, yet so far. It was a nice outing, though … so many moons ago, seems a few lifetimes at least. But banjos made of cats. Crazy, right?
