Here in the back of Hobbit House I look out upon the green – so much green. I had earlier dusted off the passenger rear door so that the Safety Crew at ECA had a clean(er) door handle to pull to get Rumbly out. Ah spring.
So we go into spring/summer – enjoyed last Monday’s total solar eclipse as an adventure with friends and family. Not quite the true spectacle of a clear sky totality (on the Tug!) but an impressive effect of turning off the sun – a sunset all 360 degrees of the horizon! Awestruck and dumbfounded my pics are for historical note only, nothing remotely spectacular.
It was certainly a good show, a wonderful time – but did it live up to the hype? Can’t make that judgment yet – let’s see if we can pull of 2028 in New Zealand, eh?
And so Monday – middle of April – 2024. Strange times indeed.
