One long day, oddly in October
|Fri 01 Oct 2021 @23:33|
To say that there are some emotions roiling about my psyche tonight would be accurate. Kiddo’s procedure was ‘routine’ and ‘went very well’ – and for that I’m incredibly grateful. To all who made his day a success – cheers!
On a related note am I the only parent who finds the unbiased opinions of semi-strangers that I have a really awesome kid makes me feel like I’ve done at least some of this decently? Certainly ain’t going to fight them over it.
He referred to his Covid test this morning as a ‘tickle stick’ – Jovan (sp?) did a great job, but then again this is the kiddo’s 6th test.
To Andy, TJ, et al – MY 4 YEAR OLD HAS HAD TO TAKE 6 COVID TESTS BECAUSE ‘AMERICA – FUCK YEAH!!!’ – frankly I’m tired of y’all idiots but I can’t figure out how to get beyond the suckage that is the conservative/Republican shitstorm. Anyone with suggestions – I”m willing to listen.
And so we are here once more. Scott types away at the end of the day, trying to capture … something. Tell a story, share a moment from my day. Ya do what you can, right?
Well this may be short and sweet – gonna put some of these up until I get distracted, dejected, depressed, or any one of the many tribulations I keep stumbling through – ya know, life, 2021 style.
I do hope you and yours are well, and that you have joy in your life.
ciao,
